Our Story Ain't Your Typical Gym Tale

Look, I'm not gonna feed you some polished corporate line about "empowerment" or whatever. Back in 2018, I was fed up with cookie-cutter gyms that treated everyone like they needed the same workout plan. Spent years bouncing between MMA circuits and strength coaching gigs before I realized what was missing.

Started Halrion Voidborn in a cramped warehouse space with basically nothing but mats, heavy bags, and a dream that probably seemed crazy to most folks. The name? Yeah, it's unconventional - kinda like our approach. Voidborn represents starting from zero, building yourself from nothing into something formidable.

We've grown since those early days, moved to our current spot on Burrard in 2020, and built a crew of trainers who actually give a damn about results over reps. This ain't about looking pretty in the mirror - though that's a nice side effect. It's about building functional strength, learning real combat skills, and pushing past whatever limits you thought you had.

Every person who walks through our doors has their own battles. We just give 'em the tools to fight back.

How We Got Here

Milestones that shaped our warrior community

September 2018

Opened the doors with just 800 sq ft and a handful of members who believed in the vision. First month we had 12 people. Twelve warriors who took a chance.

March 2019

Launched our first Warrior Bootcamp. Had to cap it at 20 participants because we literally ran out of room. That program's still running today with a waitlist.

January 2020

Moved to our current 3,500 sq ft facility on Burrard. Finally had proper space for everything - combat area, strength zone, recovery room. Felt like we'd made it.

June 2021

Brought on our first full coaching team. Five specialized trainers who each bring something different to the table. That's when we really started to diversify our programs.

October 2023

Hit 300 active members and added nutrition planning to our services. Realized you can't out-train a trash diet, so we partnered with actual experts.

Still here, still growing, still pushing boundaries. Over 450 members strong and we're just getting warmed up.
